“God didn't promise days without pain, laughter without sorrow, sun without rain, but He did promise strength for the day, comfort for the tears, and light for the way.”

  2. Hi Shana, I wanted to share smth with you. I wrote earlier about my lessons with wild horses and wanted to share smth about them I learnt regarding food. I noticed the wild horses rarely ate the common grass you see in the majority of paddocks. Their acres of wild land was strewn with all kinds of different herbs, flowers & seed heads and they would browse the tops of these esp the seeds, and pull at different herbs. I can recognize the plants they love visually but not sure of their names. However, I thought it might help to take Willow to unsprayed areas where there's a variety of grasses that she can choose. Horses heal so fast when they are eating a huge variety of different plants and will self medicate :) I also wanted to let you know that I read where you thought that horses eat 24/7 just to maintain their weight, or smth like that (sorry if I quoted it wrong!) & so you didn't know how she could put on weight, and I wanted to say that's not true. With good, lush grazing, horses can be fat as butter! We had a VERY skinny horse go away to lush grazing for 4 months, when she returned I did not recognize her! She was like a barrel! I just wanted to share that :) It's all about the grazing, knowing all is well, and that horses live in the now. You're doing brilliantly!
