In Surgery

Willow is in surgery right now...  and I am so nervous.  I spoke with Dr. Ruggles at Rood & Riddle Equine Hospital this morning, and he promised to take the very best care of my sweet girl.  He said he wouldn't call me right after the surgery... that he wanted to wait to see her standing before he called.  Should be around 1pm.  Needless to say, my phone doesn't leave my side.  Thank you to everyone for the love, support, and prayers.  I will update as soon as I hear anything....

    Oh my goodness I am waiting (im)patiently so I cannot possibly imagine how you must feel! My horse gets sick and I'm crying and praying. So my thoughts and prayers are with you and Willow! She is such a strong girl and she is so very loved...I have no doubt she will recover quickly and perfectly. <3 Stay strong mama!

    I have been following your story of you and Willow almost since the beginning and I am so saddened to hear of this new hardship. I hope with all my heart that the surgery goes well. I'll be thinking of you both throughout the day. All my prayers and fondest wishes.
